$45,000 UTV?!

March 9, 2017

The Drakart Scorpion is one insane UTV that is simply meant for a real driver to enjoy. You can get this machine with four different engine options that go from 190 horsepower to 350 horsepower through a turboed system! Virtually every part on this rad machine is made in-house by the crew at Drakart. Currently, the Scorpion is a rear-wheel-drive machine, but not for much longer! A 4×4 version is coming

Drakart Scorpion UTV

Years before long travel Yamaha Rhinos and then Turbo RZR’s became all the rage, the California based off-road car designer Drakart built amazing vehicles that today still rival the top machines from any manufacturer.

One in particular would fill a current need for those dune and desert guys looking for a 4-seat Yamaha. The Scorpion X4 UTV offers the same manual clutch, sequential shifting with a six speed gear box. The 1340cc Suzuki Hayabusa engine puts out an incredible 212 horsepower. So in a machine that has the weight of a standard 2-seat UTV, this thing can fly.

All Drakart chassis are built out of race car quality 4130 Chromoly tubing with billet Aluminum hubs and Chromoly spindles on all four corners. The body panels are fiberglass and the dash is carbon fiber. More great features include a strong billet steering rack and adjustable EPS. You get what you pay for with these machines, there’s is no upgrading needed and they are ready to race anything in the dunes or desert. Drakart is working on a 4WD system, but with the torque available in the Hayabusa engine, you would rarely need it unless you were a rock crawler or mud guy. Stay tuned as we are testing these bad boys soon.

If the 45K and 49K price seems steep, consider these costs on items to build a similar car out of a production Polaris and you will no longer think that way. 2017 Polaris RZR-Turbo 4-Seat; $27,500. Chromoly cage; $4000, Roof; $700, Four racing seats; $1600, Harnesses; $500, Doors $800, Steering wheel; $150, Tires/wheels;$1600, LED Lights $600, Exhaust; $800, Suspension; $5000, Shocks, $5000. The Drakart Scorpion is California Green Sticker legal, comes with a VIN number and can be financed at your local bank.
