Within one week of each other two local riding areas for us here in Kentucky have announced via Facebook that they are closing.
The Falls of Rough ATV Park in Falls of Rough, Kentucky announced that as of August 1st, 2018 they were officially closed with no plans of reopening.
On August 5th, 2018 Mud Madness in Lockport, Kentucky announced that they will not be reopening for the 2019 riding season; there last days of operations will be the last weekend in October.
Earlier this year there was a plan to open a riding park in Brooks, Kentucky in area known as the Brickyard; but plans seemed to fall through on that one. Luckily we did see Blue Holler Offroad Park reopen this year after being closed for over 2 years.
While there have been a few new riding parks open over the past few years, it seems that just as many have closed. We hope we don't see anymore of the parks we ride at close.
